北京外国语大学中国外语教育研究中心专职研究员、副教授、硕士生导师。 研究方向：外语教师发展，外语教学，二语写作，社会文化理论与外语教育。2001年获加拿大大布列颠哥伦比亚大学应用语言学领域硕士学位，2006年获加拿大多伦多大学应用语言学领域博士学位。主要研究方向包括外语教育、外语教师发展、外语写作教学,并在国内外核心期刊发表多篇学术论文。2008年荣获北京外国语大学华为奖教金。2010年，其讲授的外语教学法课程获北京外国语大学精品研究生课程。目前正进行2010国家社科项目“我国中小学英语教师队伍建设与教学发展新模式研究”。 讲座内容： This talk introduces the principles and constructs of sociocultural theory (SCT) and its application in second language (L2) education. First, it outlines the key concepts of sociocultural theory, namely activity theory, mediation, regulation, zone of proximal development, and internalization, which are frequently used in L2 research. Then itreviews the relevant studies drawing on SCT in the field of second or foreign language learning. Finally, it explores the further direction of the application of SCT in L2learning.
